Drone Laws OS

OS is Open Source

We are drone enthusiasts who recognize that we need all drone users to fly responsibly. We created this website to facilitate education on the latest laws, rules, and regulations governing the use of drones worldwide.

Drone Law is a not-for-profit NGO, and volunteers manage this website.

Why did we decide on Open Source?

Drone laws are essential and not proprietary. Everyone must access definitive drone laws, not opinions, interpretations, or sales pitches.

This site aims to direct you to definitive sources rather than guide you to self-serving service offerings.

We encourage users to follow the links to definitive sources and read authoritative references. Moreover, follow those rules!

Our Database

Our database is updated by volunteers reviewing each country or jurisdiction and the definitive sources of drone laws when they exist.

The database comprises a Country directory with some States or Provinces where applicable. On each page, you will find relevant national regulations, additional resources, and links to sources or regulatory agencies.

We know that regulation changes frequently and suggest you use these pages as a starting point, but visit the authoritative reference for the latest information.

We encourage like-minded enthusiasts to share their experiences in each jurisdiction, which may help to augment our collective knowledge of how to operate a drone safely in that jurisdiction.
